10 years in remembrance…

7th May 2014 marks a very special day.. not only does it mark the 3rd anniversary of the relaunch of www.GatkaOnline.com but more importantly, it is also the 10th anniversary of the passing of our beloved brothers and sister. As each year passes it doesn't get easier, it gets harder, as we realise we will never be taught our rich history and heritage by Bhai Parminder Singh, we will never experience the breathtaking voice of Bibi Rena Kaur and we will never be awed by the determination and charisma of Ustaad Bhai Charanjit Singh Ji.. May we remember their commitment to Gurmat and follow in their beautiful footsteps.   To ensure that we celebrate the legacy they left behind, young Sikhs all over the world will be holding events over the next few weeks. The Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji Gatka Akhara (UK) will be holding a Youth Darbaar and Gatka Demonstration on Wednesday 7th May at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Fartown, Huddersfield....

Gatka Online

Gatka Online is the new home for Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji Gatka Akhara & Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji Gatka Akhara. Together these two Sikh martial arts groups have an unquestionable amount of knowledge and experience, which is demonstrated through their skills and endeavours in keeping alive the Sikh martial heritage. It was later decided that the site should be relaunched in memory of Ustad Bhai Charanjit Singh Ji, one of the greatest practitioners of Gatka the world has ever seen.
