Gatka Online is the new home for Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji Gatka Akhara & Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji Gatka Akhara. Together these two Sikh martial arts groups have an unquestionable amount of knowledge and experience, which is demonstrated through their skills and endeavours in keeping alive the Sikh martial heritage.
The website was originally launched a number of years ago by students of the Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji Gatka Akhara, unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances the website ceased to exist. It was later decided that the site should be relaunched in memory of Ustad Bhai Charanjit Singh Ji, one of the greatest practitioners of Gatka the world has ever seen. In a tragic accident in May 2004, Ustad Bhai Charanjit Singh Ji lost his life alongwith two other inspirational youths, Bhai Parminder Singh Ji and Bibi Rena Kaur Ji.
